Is discussing whether or not dicussing the distribution of DLLs is off topic,
off topic? (I think I'll take a lie down.)
Anyway, looking at what has happened on my own PC, the installation does not
appear to have overwritten the existing comcat.dll which is newer than the
one supplied with VB6. All the others appear to have been updated.
I'll remove comcat.dll from the package and continue to provide a Setup
because as John Atchley says -
> Finally, it really is necessary to deliver DLLs with most windows
> applications, and to use a setup utility, because most users are not going

> required order manually.
Not all computer users are computer experts and I want to make life as easy
as possible for people.
Thanks for all the help.
Has anybody got any more comments about the program itself?
Completely different topic. What does fake-book mean? Is it just that, if
you're playing this sort of music you shouldn't be reading the dots at all?
