I have seen the movie as well and the condition is very real. The portrayal of confusion and denial of the parents is very real. I know because I have accompanied parents of such a child for an evaluation to the n I m h and it is very confusing because most of the people think it has something to do with brain damage when it definitely does not. It was an excellent movie and quite close to the actual state.
