In election of 2013 when I used my franchise for the first time I faced the same problem. I've to seek help from one of the staff member. Brail is no solution. Audio feedback is the real solution. I guess there should be two steps while using our franchise. Firstly there should be 2 sets of buttons for every party, first button should read out the candidate name and his or her party and second button should be for registering our vote. A problem arises over here audio feedback may be audible for others and it defeats our right to maintain our choice secret, for that headphones or EVMs should be placed in enclose boots like we have for ATM.
