I have now tried more or less every editor that supports python. But i will recommend you using SciTE - Its the best editor I ever have used for the windows platform, there is exactly everything you need + more.
I have also tried WingIDE, but it crashes for me all the time, and is pretty slow?! I preffer VI for unix.
