This is Swift in one of his less logical moments. And badly ambiguous (at
least outside of its context; e.g. what does he have in mind with
'fortune' -- 'luck'? or 'wealth'?) If a prudent and meritorious person earns a
fortune, he is likely to celebrate the power of both luck and wealth -- even
though he be not miserable.
