Does that also help prevent snakes? (I seem to remember a thread about snakes)

You should foam them when you are done to prevent this. I’m also assuming the fiber in that duct is carrying traffic and it would be very bad to break it and then not be able to replace it. Either this: https://www.gmptools.com/innerduct-pressurization-test-kit/ or this https://www.gmptools.com/line-blowing/ to attach to the compressor. Neither tool is very expensive (relative to the stupid price of most things fiber) Mark On Aug 19, 2020, at 6:50 PM, Mark Radabaugh <m...@amplex.net <mailto:m...@amplex.net> > wrote: Something like this: https://www.gmptools.com/cable-overblowing-junction-box/ Put the real cable in the one side and block the other port or use it for water. Hum… water going backwards through the compressor isn’t a great idea. And pushing air back the water supply isn’t great. OK, fill it with water and block the other port. Add air and wait. Once you have half decent airflow change to water. Not sure how much air you will get this way but easy to try. Use mastic and then tape to seal it. You might be able to couple a pressure washer to it too. -----Original Message----- From: ch...@wbmfg.com <mailto:ch...@wbmfg.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 19, 2020 4:00 PM To: AnimalFarm Microwave Users Group Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Locating mud filled conduit I have a clamp thing that clamps over the duct and cable and seals it all up. It has an air port coming in from the side. And I use a 375 CFM 150 psi compressor. I am guessing you could slip a copper tube down the duct and tape the crap out of everything with black vinyl tape. Just use as much air as you can get. Be sure to inject as much water as you can inject first. -----Original Message----- From: Nate Burke Sent: Wednesday, August 19, 2020 3:32 PM To: AnimalFarm Microwave Users Group Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Locating mud filled conduit How do you seal it up with the existing fiber in there to be able to blow it? How much PSI do you use? Will a portable air compressor be enough? Trying to locate a 1" poly with a non-toneable fiber installed in it. No trace wire installed. Conduit is full of Mud, and at the bottom of a handhole that is also filled with Mud. Conduit goes from handhole under a parking lot, so digging to find it isn't an option either. We were not involved in the installation of this conduit, but it is now our problem. We got a flat steel fish tape pushed in just far enough to finish the current locate request, but it's not going any farther. At some point in the future I'm probably going to get a locate request further down the conduit path.
