I seriously doubt that any datacenter rent-a-cops are going to think they're Judge Dredd and open fire on anyone. They're a dog and pony show. There's literally nothing worth dying for or risking anyone's life to protect at any datacenter. If you misbehave they can kick you out, trespass you, and/or call the real police. Even if you just drive through a gate onto private property what's the worst thing the property owner could try to get your charged for? Destruction of property? Disturbing the peace? Trespassing? Tell you to not come back? Retail loss prevention can't even stop shoplifters anymore due to liability, let alone shoot at them.

US Government facility or military installation, sure, different response. But who's gonna set up a hardware heist these days? The real threat profile is trying to break in and steal data electronically rather than physical. And you don't even need to directly attack the government to do that; just find a soft spot at a software vendor they use (i.e. Solarwinds).
