Lumen likes the term “HSIP” lately. “High Speed IP” They’ve used that term both when we had a loop and when we were meeting them in a datacenter.

HE and Cogent are down in the $500s now, and sometimes transport can be had sub 2k making for a reasonably priced 10G "dia" to a rural location.
