This is with Cambium gear?

The issue is the sync over power creates enough of a inductive spike to cause CRC errors. The fix is either to separate the wiring from the tower steel, provide sync over the sync port at the AP, use the internal sync on PTP450, or swap one wire from each of the power pairs so that +/- are on a twisted pair. The latter is probably the best solution other than it can lead to the next guy who looks at the RJ45 deciding it's screwed up and 'fixing' it for you.

A while back there was a thread about issues running CAT5 cables along the entire length of solid steel tower legs.

We've run into a problem where we can't run 100baseT reliably on a couple APs. CRC errors will go away if we force the switch port to 10baseT. Interestingly enough, packet loss amplifies when it rains.

Any help would be appreciated.
