I have voted libertarian in the past. Multiple people told me I was
"wasting my vote".
I tell them the only way you waste your vote is by voting for something
you didn't really believe in.

This is looking like a year that I may end up voting libertarian again.
I voted for Obama the last two go arounds mainly because I had hoped
he could bring both sides to the table. That didn't happen and so I'm
a bit dissapointed.
I'm a single issue voter at this point. Whoever can act as a
catalyst to get our politics working like it was described in
elementary school social studies gets my vote. I feel the most
important thing a president can do is get everyone in a room and
hammer out a deal. This whole refusal to come to a middle ground has
to stop. I thought Obama might be it. Boy was I wrong. The
Republicans dug in even more.
I don't see any of the presidential candidates being this person. So
I'm likely voting for the third party unless something changes.

I think the locals are primarily just anti trump, mostly Bernie, a
few Hillary and maybe one for Cruz. The paid protesters support
whichever president is on the bills they are paid with, but
predominately Bernie.
I hate that I have to vote trump, i wish there were an actual good
candidate, but Cruz is too much of a zealot to beat the left, and
neither of the two on the left will take us in any positive
direction, they'll just continue focusing on dividing the nation
like the current mope.
I'm still hoping Bill Murray makes his run for real.

He's coming to this area tommorrow. I have been monitoring
the local protester chatter, their plans to go and
protest. I've been warning them they're going to be
outnumbered by the paid protesters and to have an exit
strategy if things go south. And also pointed them to some
resources for better preparedness in the event they choose
to stay if mayhem starts. They have no clue what they're
in for with these professional rabblerousers. I fear a
lot of them will be recruited into these left wing terror
cells and not even realize it.

I don't condone this at all. I may not
like Trump, but
the guy
deserves to sink or swim on his own merit.
Breaking up
these rallies
regardless of the speaker is a threat to
democracy.
Jaime you kind of
hinted at this earlier - Our forefathers
used to sit
around at the
tavern having a brew and debating the
future of the
country. It's a
shame we can't do the same anymore without
resulting
to labeling
("liberal", "rino", "right-winger",
"left-winger",
"birther", etc) /
name calling.
I never considered a difference of opinion in
politics, in religion,
in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing
from a friend.
