We have a /21, OSPF internally, no iBGP. eBGP from two peers gets default route only. I inject both via OSPF. I send the whole /21 to both peers. OSPF default sends outbound traffic to the nearest edge. Prepends to one peer gets the inbound traffic mostly balanced out.

That's about as simple as you can get. Hammett will say it's not "optimal" but again, it's simple and it works.
