I am supremely good at setting up hardware, it's affording it that's the problem... I have a GTX 470 and the drivers have gone to shit. =( Half the stuff I throw at it crashes the damn thing and takes the rest of the computer with it.. =\ There was a group buy of Xeon Phi boards at the local makerspace, the price was so good that I had to ask for one. I don't think I'll be able to get the damn thing to work because I run gentoo and intel decided that linux == redhat. My real problem is software because building for this kind of application will require new research along with the usual heavy lifting... -- IQ is a measure of how stupid you feel.
