Seems to fix my problems. After mpiling without defining
--with-debug=xx during configure I was able to install the drivers
without these boring Unresolved symbols errors. Anyway, what the
hell is so different with alsa, that I wasn't able to compile it out
of the box as I can do with so many other programs ...
