I checked the modules.copnf, I have basically same setup, I
also used your asound.state but there's no difference...
what speaker configuration do you use?
in addition to that my fornt speakers do not play anymore,
it's really weird - they do not play with my original
asound.state and they do not play when I use your asound.state
(I noticed that they do not play before I tried your
asound.state). it might be result of my tinkering but how come
it still doesn't work when I load you asound.conf?
right now (I use lables that alsamixer uses, same order but I
don't list all of them):
listening to xmms with alsa output plaugin (same appliesto OSS
plugin even though I didn't tested it so thoroughly)
as stated above, sound comes out of rear speakers and
subwoofer only.
Master nothing
3D Control* nothing
Surround only subwoofer?
Surround Digital nothing
Center nothing
LFE nothing
Wave nothing
Wave Center nothing
Wave LFE only subwoofer
Wave Surround works
Aux nothing (OK? don't know what it is)

all of the EMU10K1 seem to do something, not sure what, oftedn
I can't even tell what changed. They are reset to values listed below
everytime xmms start to play (or goes to next song)
