Your installation put minimo outside of the machine's PATH. I used to
deal with this on my collie, in OZ, by using ipkg-link (I believe that
is what it was called) to generate all the symlinks necessary to make
the binaries appear to have been installed under /. That is, of course,
a kludge. It would be better to add the destination directory to your
PATH, but you also need to add in paths to subsidiary programs and
libraries for complicated things like a web browser. Paths to icons and
desktop config files needed to show up under matchbox make life even
more complicated. It may be possible, and should be done for machines
with severely restricted / space, to automate that procedure rather than
re-do ipkg-link.

Sure. The difference here is that mrxvt is a more-or-less
self-contained binary, but mozilla-ish things require access to several
different files. ipkg-link was supposed to know about what was needed,
but that can be difficult to determine.
