Huh? I don't think anyone here tried to compare Rahman and Sachin.
It's quite the opposite. What they are pointing out is 'similarities'.
They are legends in their own field, they belong to the same era, and
icons on Young India and have brought cheer and pride to the nation.
There are millions of people who are big fans of both these legends
and I don't see anything wrong in this thread.
I agree if you have an issue about people comparing Rahman with other
composers.
Chill dude! This is not a convent with strict disciplines. People
should be allowed to express what they feel, as far as it's related to
Rahman. If you don't like a thread, there's a delete button available
to your rescue :)

This is not now but its been happening some time. Please do
understand that this place is for ARR and his music. For comparing
Sachin, this is not the right forum. Neither ARR can become Sachin
nor Sachin can become ARR. They are both two dynamic individuals
demonstrating their prowess in their own skill sets.
Please refrain from comparing ARR and Sachin in this forum. I have
been a silent member of this group right from 2000 and this sort of
comparison takes the vital energy of this group. Always someone
comparing ARR with Ilayaraja or Harris or to some other people.
Everybody is unique. Just discuss purely about the man and his music.
