There were problems there for years and years - since I recall - the
70's. Some concessions even escaped due to "engineering defects". (A
nice way to break a lease).
It is a very, very old building, sitting on the ocean. It needs TLC
every day.
Didn't HV say at one point it needed $18m worth of work.
