The other real problem is that total possible time in most schools is 842,000
minutes LESS
lunch, toilet time, time between classes then time to settle down when they
come in the
room and get ready to leave, less other "personal" days other then school
holidays.... etc.

actual teaching time isn't all that spectacular in most us schools.

And most schools kiss ass to good athletes and good coaches.

Every cribs of engineers or geeks like Gates or Allen's yacht?

It's fast money for the FEW great athletes.

NCAA has many problems - like recruiting.
