Didn't even think about the seasonal employees, and unless your waiting tables or tending bar on the weekends that is a bit pricey

Honestly, I simply think it's wrong to charge employees to park in our city. Employees are already doing jobs that contribute to the local economy. I don't think it was right back in 1979, and I don't think it's right in 2011. Many of the boardwalk employees are seasonal, and lots are part time. Charging them $100 so they can do their job is a bit insulting in these times. --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "oakdorf" <oakdorf@...> wrote: > > > > --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "Hinge" <hinge98@> wrote: > > > > I think charging boardwalk employee's $100 a year to park is absolutely > > ridiculous. > > Well if my kids go to work 5 days per week x 12 weeks - that's 60 parking > days. > > I guess it's cheaper then parking in the lots all parking in front of > hinge's.... > > In 1979, we paid $180 as an employee to park in the lot behind the empress. > My boss paid for it. > > Do the math. > > It's cheaper then: > > 1.
