Why would you have to go back and restripe it? Stripe it once, number it and don't enforce it, I have no issue with paid parking, I encourage/welcome it, I have seen the benefits
But I also see hinges point, its known that parking was a problem and known to be used by residents/employees. We also see now there is not a HUGE need right now for paid parking, so why not a compromise and give the residents/employees a "grace" period if you will, to get everything in order (find new parking, new means of getting to work etc) I paid today, no complaints Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry -----Original Message----- From: "dfsavgny" <dfsav...@yahoo.com> Sender: AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com Date: Wed, 19 Oct 2011 21:59:05 To: <AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com> Reply-To: AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com Subject: [AsburyPark] Re: Downtown paid parking went into effect today But why go back and stripe again? Whats the down side of paid parking on Mattison? It is in the CBD. --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, cbrianwatkins@... wrote: > > I totally get what your saying about starting with Cookman and working > outwards, however, I feel that wouldve turned into a debacle.
