there is a high level of corruption in small loans to educated youth. Even I was asked by a school time friend in March 1999 to try my hand at it and get atleast  about Rupees 1,00,000 ---. My friend would have got me the fake bills to show that I purchased machinery/poultry etc --which later died --so money sunk (in my pocket) . The agents at the Govt Industry/Finane office would take a  percentage (10%), 10 % to my friend -- the rest to me. Only collateral needed - u just need to be a graduate.

If this is made transparent - some genuine youth can start businesses.

In march end they are in a hurry to disburse the loans - they have a target to meet --so he had asked me to hurry.

If Kalam saheb said it, it must be gospel! Which means that the
parents of all those in positions of power, albeit corrupt, are so
because their parents were too, as were their teachers. Or at the
very least they did not teach their progeny or their pupils that
corruption is bad, that it is a no no and failed in their duties as
parents and teachers, letting their wards grow up to be corrupt.

Imagine parents telling their children: Guess what boys/girls?
Bahira-haat is OK, as long as you don't get caught. Or the teacher
suggesting that corrupt behavior is a figment of people's
imagination, that it is everywhere, and it is OK to part! ake of it,
because only a fool will choose to be left out of the game that
everyone is playing.

It is akin to ABV proclaiming once that corruption is there because
of greed, that people ought not to be greedy. Is that deep stuff or
what? Vestiges of a three-and-a-half thousand year ( or was it
ten?)old civilization!
