I'd agree with you, but it's happened to me before and Thomas and I went 
hunting for them. :-/  It DOES happen. It's infuriating to find, owing to the 
randomness of the incoming mails. One has to note the last restart time and 
scan the incoming in case it was saved to disk before the crash. It's 
time-consuming work, but it can be done and it has proven that this CAN happen 
to assp. Do not exclude the possibility if your server randomly crashes every 
few minutes to every few hours.
