Too bad the argument of bandwidth wasting isn't so valid anymore as it 
was back in the days where 14k4 or 28k modems were the norm. ;-) Add to 
that having to pay per minute on local calls, in many countries outside 
the USA.

Well, top posting isn't such a problem per se. Just the excessive 
quoting which it seems to promote makes reading much harder. Bottom 
posting with bad quoting is just as annoying, of course.
