Whats the problem? The question was why can't an email client 
automatically strip off signatures. The only way it could POSSIBLY do 
such a thing is if every signature had a specific way to identify it - 
so, this delimiter was pointed out as the only thing that could do such 
a thing.

No one was saying that everyone used it, or even SHOULD use it (I wish 
they would, but thats irrelevant)
