I've got a cheap Grandstream HandyTone-286 ATA. It fails every now and then for some unknown reason, and has to be rebooted.
I have an old Bell all-in-one router/dsl modem but I'm going to pick up a wrt54gl at some point and install openwrt on it. I might also look into buying a new ATA, as I've been having DTMF problems with this one, though I don't know for sure if its the ATA. I'd like to dump my local Asterisk server in favour of a voip provider which has a big feature list, ie. acanac at a good price.
