If it's locally powered, try swapping the power adapter with the good one. The current consumed by the phone varies based what it's doing at time so if the supply is marginal strange things can happen.

The phone locks up completely, until the power is reset. It also seems to be locking up randomly when the phone is actually in use. There is a faint click sound from the speaker just before the phone crashes. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this problem. I tried to contact Aastra support, but I'm frankly getting nowhere with them. A firmware update, etc. hasn't made any difference. There is no crash log. There is another 57iCT phone at the same location, same firmware, not experiencing any problem. I suspect it's a hardware issue; but the phone is 6 months out of warranty and I hate to tell the client they need to purchase something new. I generally like Aastra phones, but I don't think they'd be interested in buying a new unit if they aren't going to last. Thoughts, suggestions? Cheers, Sean. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
