I guess I'm hosed, then. There are only 2 pci slots on the riser card and I've tried swapping my x100p with the nic. I've also tried removing the x100p and then alternately, removing the nic. In either case, I don't get my USB back.
The brain-dead bios setup on this PC has only one setting that affects intterupt handling. Whether or not ACPI is used. If not, then IRQ 9 becomes available for cards. I've always had ACPI off. I guess I'll try to see if I get the USB function back if I remove both PCI cards. Let me know if you think of anything else.
