  All buildroot-based systems compile mconf (including us and
gumstix).  Did you recently upgrade your machine to 64 bit and then
use a backup (with astlinux sources) from an older machine?  It's
possible make didn't know and didn't rebuild the Kconfig, etc stuff
for you...
