All,

Please advise what else I might be able to do to help.  Because my legacy 
hardware is running fine at present, it's easy for me to be patient while a 
"fix" is being researched that would permit AstLinux to work on my SATA 
hardware.  

However, particularly since I would benefit from such a "fix," I'm happy to 
lend a hand.  I'm not terribly proficient with Linux but would be glad to help 
to the degree I can.  Please let me know.
