it seemed to me when I ran QEMU / KVM on my APU2 that it likes to run rather
Hot..  Hotter than id like for production..  I do mount them to a metal vented
rack shelf which helps disperse heat but not sure id Like a full Hypervisor
running on that APU2.. at leadt not inits own case..  perhaps with better
cooling than stock..

performance of Asterisk is good on it.. even for higher call volume systems..
(in bare metal mode)..

sounds interesting however I suspect that hardware wont be the major expense
here so I will move applications to another hardware box or VM.    Regards

Subject: Re: [Astlinux-users] Astlinux Contact Centre    If Queue Metrics is
fairly lightweight than you could run it in a VM on the same h/w as Astlinux.
With a custom Astlinux build you can have QEMU/KVM in the kernel then run a
Linux VM.  I am running Ubuntu in a VM on my Astlinux PCengines APU2 box in
which I have the Unifi Controller s/w running for my wifi.    The base kernel
support is not built with any of the standard Astlinux images but is easy to
add if you can build your own.  If interested let me know and I can provide
instructions.     David       On Mon, Apr 10, 2017 at 10:08 AM Michael Keuter

If you go the way with AstLinux integration, I would be very interested as well.

For inspiration an older slide by Leif Madsen:

BTW: The distributed devicestate is no big deal with XMPP and Prosody.
I have a small distributed call center (with 5 locations) using only FOP2 and
basic reporting in production for several years.
