What Thomas says.

If we have a translator translating Breton, and that translator really
really wants to use French for the untranslated items, and puts those
translations in, I'd accept that.  I'd assume they know what they are
doing.

If Dutch had been neglected for a while and a new translator came along and
put German translations in for all the missing items, I'd say "NO", (after
asking around my Dutch friends first, just to make sure he/she really was
trolling me).  I'd then tell him/her to go and troll a different project.
