I know it's not optimal, but in my opinion, it's better to have a partial
translation than no translation at all. Especially for people who grew up never
learning English. It will make more software accessible for them, and it will
attract other translators for that language, too. Seeing a partial translation
made me want to translate Audacity and VLC Media Player.
Hi, I'm not saying that I disagree with the content of your mail, but to
complete: by now nobody who speak Breton doesn't speak french at least
also, if not english, since by now breton-speaker are mostly young
activists rather than old people.
This give me the idea that Audacity should take in account a back off
language different from English in this sort of cases: for Breton,
non-localized strings should switch to french rather than English.
