On the cheating issue I can't speak, but personally I will say I like the idea that this game is not! just pokemon under another name. Similar? yes, but there's no reason it should obey all pokemon mechanics, one reason why I would like to see things like easier levelling systems for manamon your not using.
I confess though I'm getting a little irritated at the moment.
I just can't! find any other exits to the miner ruff tunnel apart from the one to skeen path and the one to honcho village. I'm attempting to level my manamon in that area, but it's a grind since either my manamon have attacks that do weakness damage and cruse through levelling like hell (I've got several over level 17 now), or they don't and it's a huge huge grind fest. I wouldn't mind as much if multiple areas were available to explore but I'm getting roundly sick of the cave and seeing the same fights over and over and over again.
Why
! after paladin of the skies there isn't a way to tell your map position or whether you've visited an area before I don't know.
I've entered from the honcho village side, going south leads to a room with statues and two musicians the way I came up before, and I can't find any new areas that way, while going either streight forward east or north and then being forced to go east leads to the skeen path entrance.
I'm liking the game thus far, but I confess this section is getting draggy to the point of dull, both in the stat grinding and in the utter lack of progress or new stuff to see.
