I accidentally stepped in a bed of fire ants when I was nine, and y'all, it made me SO SICK. It was a Saturday, and all I did the rest of that day is lay on the couch!
About the American Indians, it is sickening how they were, and still are, treated. The worst one was when . . maybe it was the Army? . . I can't remember, gave blankets to a tribe, but the blankets were from people infected with smallpox. I cried when I heard that. I keep hoping it was just a myth.
