Re: Teens Are Not too Young for Depression

I'd really like to know how Ironcross manage to obtain the golden rod of immunity. Multiples times has he open antagonized, castigated, and otherwise attacked forum users, and yet he continues to skate by with little more than a "boy, you're being kind of mean" statement from the moderators. He's openly attacked people for their sexuality, personally attacked, and seemingly keeps attempting to deliberately anger and otherwise troll another forum user, and yet Moonwalker gets a stronger chastisement by calling the post attention seeking, whereas posts that basically say Ironcross hopes the OP will do something to rid the forum of himself go un remarked and un reprimanded.
Should I assume some preferential discretion on this part of this single forum user? You guys have banned users for posting links to clones, but apparently this individual's continued rending of the community failure clause seems absolutely fine. I guess the mental health of bits of code is more important than that of fellow forum members. Is it perhaps a good idea for us to go back through the punishments board and retract any that fall into this category, since we no longer seem to value the respect of forum members from a moderation standpoint? There was another topic about trolling recently, wherein this particular offender was pretty prolifically participating in this activity, and yet the moderators just let it go. Even when he was reported for homosexual hate mongering, the staff just gave him a slap on his wrist. Heck, didn't I just see pretty severe moderation warnings the other day just because The Dwarfer decided to resurrect an old topic? Apparently, thread necromancy is even more offensive that openly attacking another forum member.
Is it safe to say it's open season and users can say what they want? Or is that privilege only extended to a few select individuals who might run to the BSG blog to complain, swear they never want to come back to this forum, then come back anyway having learned nothing and continuing to attack and troll fellow forum members?

Suffice it to say I'm pretty disappointed with how the moderators are handling, or not handling, this offender.
