The game is indeed fluid. I wouldn't say the blood/gore is overrated, I'd say it fits the game.
I had a good time with story mode, even if parts of it are a little cliched in places. I think it all works together well though in terms of presentation etc.
I'm trying to find kombo lists that are in standard notation and that aren't using strange symbols and that aren't just the default strings in the move list.
If you guys want I can start an MKX kombo list thread as well so we can all contribute to it.
The interactive sound cues are there, I've been playing with those for the past few days. The option to activate those I believe is in options/gameplay, I think it's the last option (op one from the default starting position.).
