The first and most basic rule is treat other forum members with respect. That's what has not been done here. my comment about judge and jury was related to your action, someone was behaving in what you saw as a wrong way so you decided to teach them a lesson with rash action. as I said, no different from breaking into someone's house to prove they need a new door lock.
I do not like to give bans out of hand without warning to people who haven't caused issues previously, however I will say I'm worried by the fact that you cannot see what you have done as wrong and blaime others for it, sinse retaliation is not an excuse.
