TAS started as an underground mag in the late 1970s. It didn't come of age until a decade later.
I do believe good cables make a difference but I would not pay more than $100 for a set of interconnects. Good thing the local dealer has a lot of "demo" and used cables to choose from. Like XLO's for 50 bucks.
