guess it all boils down to how it sounds.... particularly for the audiophile market.... and as mentioned by others much depends on what those punters are after.. a straight out of the box solution or a product that requires separate set up ... personally I like the fact that slim are open source and they continually look to help address the needs and wants of its customers thru changes in Slimserver and otherwise...
