Robin I understand that, but I'm questioning the sense of doing it this way. As SD users we already use the PC for music. Then why somebody would want to use an expensive(not the DEQ) DSP based device (DEQ, Tact, name it) if the PC can do exactly the same processing? Ok some folks are computer disabled ;-) but they must be a vanishing minority.
I admit that there is a place for standalone devices but the mainstream is going in the PC DRC, isn't it? BTW all the problems of looping the Transporter disappear with the pc DRC. , easy and cost effective.
