In my experince it's rare that people turn thewir hifi up loud. It confuses me why so many audiophiles buys kit that only sounds good loud. I think that when people buy gear they should take care to buy stuff that sounds good at the volume they are most often likely to listen to it at (this is just one reason why correctly driven Shahinian Arcs are so cool). This can sometimes preclude hi wattage speakers and hard-to-drive speakers. MC
