I use wmal2pcm to create the wav,
then Foobar with "DSP Processing -> Resampler" to convert to 44.1
then Foobar to convert to flac

phew!

Oh, in Foobar -> Preferences -->Tools -> Converter I have "Preferred
bit depth" at 24...
