I'm quite keen to here people answers on this, was having a chat the other day with the owner of an audio shop. I have an old technics equaliser that i've been forced to stop using as due to rubbish ribbon power connecters that meant I had to have the radio unit turned on to use it. I prefer the sound of my stereo through an equaliser so much, it makes such a difference, yet they seem to have stopped making them.
