Even one hardcore "drive mechanism tweaker" i know had to give in that ripped file data is better than a transport :) Sooner or later all will know better, like the Linn Klimax and a thread about it is already anouncing. Back to the tweaker: using a smart card with wav files in a DVD-player that has a slot for them sounded better than the data read directly from the CD! These people just have to try and learn and Computers soon will be "unavoidable" by them :)
