Yes, but it still has a few drawbacks:
- takes too much resources (there goes the idea of using an old PC to
do it).

- does not have an easy off/on switch. To take it down, one needs to
change file settings on server. The way around is to bring  bands to 0
and that still attenuates by 6 (or so DBs) and still uses PC resources.

- Can not be used on the album by album or track by track bases (the
way winamp works). I don't wont to do the whole room correction filter
generation, but rather to adjust certain recordings that I feel don't
sound right. It shouldn't be to difficult to make it to remember
setting for the particular track or album.

I probably don't see the whole picture here but I really don't get it
what a big deal is. As mentioned in the prior post, every software
player around has it and it doesn't seem to take any additional
resources. Why would it be different on SS?
