Yes, but it still has a few drawbacks: - takes too much resources (there goes the idea of using an old PC to do it). - does not have an easy off/on switch. To take it down, one needs to change file settings on server. The way around is to bring bands to 0 and that still attenuates by 6 (or so DBs) and still uses PC resources. - Can not be used on the album by album or track by track bases (the way winamp works). I don't wont to do the whole room correction filter generation, but rather to adjust certain recordings that I feel don't sound right. It shouldn't be to difficult to make it to remember setting for the particular track or album. I probably don't see the whole picture here but I really don't get it what a big deal is. As mentioned in the prior post, every software player around has it and it doesn't seem to take any additional resources. Why would it be different on SS? DVD performance will also increase substantially. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iAj2aPdQnk or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvMNuuFSvN0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ slimkid's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8881 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43466 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
