I think that many people may confuse themselves by think "different" is
"better". Also, its easy to be seriously affected by small differences
in volume when doing comparisons. Usually, the loudest will sound best.
Its VERY important to do a proper level alignment when comparing
equipment, in my opinion. Ideally you should measure the levels between
the units so they are less than 0,2 dB apart. This can be done by
playing back a 100 Hz sine-wave, and measure the output voltage from
the power amp with a cheap multimeter.
