thanks for the informative reply Phil. mabye you could "borrow" your friend's black box for a quick demo!. i bought the Transporter last year and in doing so i simplified things system-wise here. Sold my SB3 and two Linn Akurate C4200's/Linn Ikemi/Pekin/Aktiv xover box and still have my KABERS sans xover sitting in my daughter's bedroom! unsold as i am trying to find a crossover pack to make them passive again. setup is now :- Transporter/Bonnec Timpano Preamp/Linn Akurate C4200/Totem Forest. not forgetting my LP12/Cirkus/Ekos2/DV17D2/Linto/Lingo!.
