Well, in fact, any dac in the market that costs more than 200$ beats SB3. But nobody cares in making dacs under the 500$ tag anymore (except Beresford, and some Chinese, of course). Also, dacs in receivers have evolved a lot, the last three years. Actually, even the Denon 1709 sounds (much) better than the SB3.
