Farq,my Transporter sits on the top shelf of my rack and always runs cool. i've been using a product called "Black Ravioli" for a number of years now,it was developed by a naval acoustics bod. i have each of my units supported by four of these pads and their isolation properties are pretty good. here's a link to the company and it's products.
