Hi all, I had the transporter connected to a Mark Levinson 336 directly, with no pre-amp in between. Before the transporter I used a wadia 850 with digital volume control, that's why I have no pre-map. This experience forces me to get one. Fortunately the repair of the speakers wasn't that costly : eur 200,-. My speakers are B&W N802, the dealer told me B&W has a policy to only charge factory-prices on repairs, as they figure you already paid full price at the new purchase of their products.
